More heavy rain in Chungcheong-do and Jeolla-do Provinces until Friday

Good afternoon. Some parts of the northern regions received over five-hundred millimeters of rain in less than 48 hours. Goyang City in Gyeonggi-do Province had over 500 millimeters of showers, and Dobong-gu Distict in Seoul saw nearly 490 millimeters... And those figures could rise with more rain in the forecast until dawn on Friday.

Central and southern regions will see rainfall picking up in the afternoon and continuing until late at night, with Chungcheong-do and Jeolla-do Provinces in particular seeing heavy rainfall until dawn tomorrow. Seoul will see light rainfall around midnight tonight.

Rain could fall at a rate of 40 millimeters an hour over those two provinces, with up to 150 millimeters of rainfall expected until Friday. So be prepared.

Daily highs will range in the upper twenties to low thirties in most parts, Seoul and Busan will get up to 29 degrees Celsius. Meanwhile, Jeju will be hot and mostly sunny with a heatwave advisory in place for Thursday.
