Work on the inter-Korean liaison office in Kaesong does not violate international sanctions on Pyongyang.
That's what Seou's foreign ministry reiterated during a briefing today.
It's spokesperson highlighted that the power generator and petroleum sent to the regime between June and July are solely for the convenience of the South Korean officials who will be stationed there.
Noh Kyu-duk... explained, these materials provide no economic benefit to Pyongyang.
South Korea has been maintaining the stance... that setting up the liaison office does not violate any international sanctions and that Seoul will continue working closely with Washington and the international community on the matter.
