Sarah Sanders Accuses Media Of Causing Divisions In The Country

Sarah Huckabee Sanders on Tuesday again slammed the media.

White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders on Tuesday accused the media of causing divisions in the country.  "I think the media has done more to divide this country, certainly far more than this president ever has," Sanders said at a press briefing,"by elevating people like [Omarosa Manigault-Newman]...by focusing on a sparsely-attended rally, instead of all of the policies that this administration and that this president are enacting, that are helping people not just on the economy but on school choice, on prison reform that's disproportionately affected African Americans and Hispanics."  "This is a president who is governing to help all Americans and I think we'd all be better off if the media gave that just a little bit more attention," Sanders continued.  Her statement was preceded by a question about President Trump's comments regarding the intelligence of a number of African-Americans.  The president has also been making strong statements against the media.  Among them is his recent tweet: "The Fake News hates me saying that they are the Enemy of the People only because they know it's TRUE. I am providing a great service by explaining this to the American People. They purposely cause great division & distrust. They can also cause War! They are very dangerous & sick!"
