WH Press Secretary Sarah Sanders Tweets About Toddler Son’s Inadvertent, Alexa-Enabled Toy Purchase

White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders on Sunday tweeted about her 2-year-old son’s inadvertent and Alexa-enabled purchase of an $80 Batman toy.

White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders on Sunday tweeted about her 2-year-old son's inadvertent Alexa-enabled purchase of an $80 Batman toy.  "Alexa, we have a problem if my 2 year old can order a Batman toy by yelling 'Batman!' over and over again into the Echo," she wrote, using her official White House account. While that is certainly a problem, some had different opinions about why. A number of people expressed outrage over the fact that Sanders, who, according to Newsweek, has two personal twitter handles, opted to use the official one designated for the press secretary position.  Notably, all tweets posted by such White House accounts are preserved by the National Archives and Records Administration.
On an up note, people for generations to come will be reminded that it's wise to exercise caution when children and artificial intelligence assistants are in the same room.
