Voluntary Evacuations Issued for Southern California's Holy Fire

Voluntary evacuation orders were issued for several communities in southern California due to the Holy Fire, which stood at more than 4,100 acres and was 5 percent contained by August 8.The McVicker, Rice and Sycamore Creek communities were under an voluntary evacuation on August 8. Other evacuation orders were issued in the Trabuco Canyon and Holy Jim areas by that date, according to ABC 7.The fire started on Monday, August 6, according to official reports.
