Hello I'm Michelle Park here with the latest weather update. Sudden sporadic showers have been coming down even under bright skies. Most parts of the nation will continue to get showers of between 5 and 50 millimeters tonight, while the regions near the east coast are under heavy rain advisories,... expecting to get 80 millimeters in addition to the downpour they've already gotten today.
Even with some precipitation, the heatwave continues tomorrow here in Korea. Tokyo and Beijing will stay cooler, though, under clouds and rain.
The nation will start the day under cloudy skies,... Seoul at 28 degrees Celsius, Daegu and Gyeongju at 25 degrees.
During the day more showers are expected for some regions. Seoul remains under cloudy skies with a high of 35 degrees. Gwangju will be hotter at 36 and somewhat cooler in Busan, hitting 32 degrees.
This week will be another scorching hot one,... with highs steady at 35 degrees during the day and tropical nights.
