Commuters wade and float through flooded Swedish station

Confused commuters wade through a flooded Uppsala Central Station, Sweden, as youngsters bring their inflatables to float merrily through the terminal.

The torrential summer downpour occurred after about a month without rain, according to locals.

Escalators were submerged and while some commuters were clearly greatly inconvenienced by the flooding, others saw it as an opportunity for fun and games.

"Uppsala is a city with a lot of funny and easygoing students so this is the result of people making the best of the situation," the filmer wrote.
