Our top story this morning...
President Moon Jae-in has ordered the military to immediately turn in all documents that detail plans to declare martial law... drafted by its intel unit.
It's been reported that such a move was planned in case protests grow violent following a court ruling on former president Park Geun-hye.

"President Moon said although the case will be investigated strictly and fairly by the defense ministry's special team, as the commander-in-chief, he needs to find out what really happened and whether the martial law plan had been readied to the level of execution."

The president's order comes amid an ongoing probe into revelations this past week of a document showing the military's Defense Security Command in late 2016 drafted plans to mobilize troops to suppress protests and crack down on rallies and candlelight vigils against the disgraced leader.
She was removed from office over broad corruption allegations in December 2016.
The plans for troop deployment were never carried out.
