A woman was spotted reeling in a prize catch at Surfside Beach, Texas, on July 7. Eyewitness Ayon Dasgupta, filmed Lauren Biggers reeling a seven-foot shark into shore and shared the video to YouTube.According to local media this was the first shark Biggers had ever caught.Sharing images of the catch to her Facebook page, Biggers claimed that she was able to hold the fishing rod for over 30 minutes because of her exercise hobby, CrossFit.“Thank God for CrossFit, I’d never have been able to do it!” she wrote in the post.The shark was released back into the water, despite Biggers joking on Facebook that she would have loved “a shark taco.” Credit: Ayon Dasgupta via Storyful
