Beryl Remnants Wash Across Puerto Rico with Thunderstorms

The National Weather Service issued flash-flood warnings as the remnants of Tropical Storm Beryl washed over Puerto Rico on Monday, July 9.Thunderstorms, heavy rain and wind gusts up to 40mph were expected, the weather service said. Two to three inches of rain could fall in several hours, a news report said.More than 12,000 power customers were without electricity, down from nearly 50,000 without power, a news report said.
