Satellite Imagery Shows Rainfall From Tropical Storm Beryl

NASA’s Global Precipitation Measurement (GPM) recorded the rainfall from Tropical Storm Beryl over the Lesser Antilles in the Caribbean on July 8.The storm was downgraded from a tropical storm to a remnant low-pressure system after it passed this area, according to the National Hurricane Center.According to the data collected, the storm dropped rain at a rate of greater than 75 mm (2.95 inches) per hour.
