South Korea is waking up to another soggy morning today,... as heavy showers have been pouring across the country since early Sunday.
Reports of flood damage and canceled flights have been coming in-- this,... as Typhoon Prapiroon is fast approaching the country's southeast coast.
For more on the wet weather, influenced by the 7th typhoon of the season,... we cross to our Lee Jee-hyun at the weather center.
Jee-hyun,... what are we looking at?

Good morning. Let's talk about the track of the typhoon first.
So far the weather agency is looking at the path of Typhoon Prapiroon to directly hit Seogwipo on Jeju Island around dawn on Tuesday, Busan Tuesday afternoon and Dokdo early Wednesday.
We will see heavy showers and strong winds from Monday night into Tuesday for the surrounding regions. Ullengdo and Dokdo will be affected until Wednesday morning.

A typhoon advisory should be issued in those regions during the day, tropical-storm-force winds and torrential rainfall are expected. But the path of the typhoon can change quickly so stay updated when you can.

Eighty to 150 millimeters of rain will soak the nation until Tuesday, authorities have warned citizens to be careful of flooding and landslides.

Meanwhile, inland regions won't be affected by the typhoon but those of us in the upper regions will continue to see heavy monsoon rain all day today, Daegu and Gyeongsang-do regions are seeing monsoon as well.

Temperatures will remain warm, Seoul will see a high of 26 degrees.. while most southern regions will see highs in the upper twenties. Double check your travel schedules to check if there have been any delays or cancelations.

That's all for me at this hour, I will have more updates on our later newscast.
