Magnitude 6.1 earthquake hits Osaka; no tsunami warning issued

A magnitude six-point-one tremor hit Japan's Osaka region on Monday just before 8 AM local time.
Japan's weather agency reported that the quake,.... with an initial magnitude of 5-point-9,... later revised up to 6-point-1,... hit inland at a depth of 10 kilometers.
The agency issued no tsunami warning.
Japan's public broadcaster NHK reports.... that three people have died,... and over 35 have been injured.
Power outages have been reported as well as light damage to a few train stations,.... causing some services to be halted.
