A man was nearly struck by lightning outside his home in Lillington, North Carolina, on Monday, June 11.Shawn Hicks, a 7th grade science teacher, told Storyful he went outside to film the storm to show his class. The video shows a thunderstorm approaching Hicks’ home in Lillington and a lightning strike that sent him running inside.
