Dramatic lightning strike caught on camera

Awesome footage of a lightning bolt striking a tree next to a house in Florida, USA.

The video, filmed in Doral on Tuesday, shows the bolt hitting a spot right next to the building, creating a brief ball of fire.

The clatter of the strike also sets off car alarms and prompts the filmer to shout: "Oh my God! Woah!"

Parts of Florida were hit by a severe thunderstorm on Tuesday.
