A high school baseball game in Saint Paul, Minnesota, ended with a touching moment on June 6 when the winning pitcher stopped to console his childhood friend before joining his team’s celebration.Mounds View defeated Totino-Grace in a thrilling 17-10 game that saw two childhood friends face each other in the final out. Mounds View pitcher Ty Koehn struck out Totino-Grace’s Jack Kocon to seal the victory that allowed the Mounds View tea to advance to the state championships.The move set off wild celebrations by the Mounds View team except for one – Ty Koehn. Koehn had immediately rushed to Kocon’s side to console him.The two are close friends and played youth baseball together before parting ways in high school, local media report.
