Good morning. Those of us in the central region can breathe a little better in terms of temperatures....
while people across the south will continue to swelter under a searing heatwave... especially those in Daegu and parts of Gyeongsang-do Provinces will have mid-summer heat under heatwave advisories, take good care of yourself... the number of heat-related diseases patients are rising fast and it's only early June.
Taking a closer look at today's readings...morning lows are similar to yesterday, Seoul, Daejeon, Gyeongju are having a low of 18 degrees.
Gyeongju and Daegu will have sweltering afternoon highs at 33 degrees Celsius, Seoul will see highs nearly 3 degrees lower than yesterday at 26 degrees under mostly sunny skies with high UV rays in most parts.
Relief is on the way, nationwide rain on Sunday will put the brakes on the scorching temperatures.
