Good morning. The scorching start to June will continue across much of the country with no relief from the heat this Thursday.
Daegu and parts of Gyeongsang-do and Gangwon-do provinces are under heatwave advisories with temperatures hovering in the low thirties... and it will stay this hot for the next few days.
It might be hot, but the air quality today isn't great. Busan, Ulsan and Chungcheongbuk-do Province will have high levels of fine dust all day... so keep your face mask handy.
Gyeongju and Daegu will have sweltering afternoon highs at 33 degrees Celsius, Seoul will be warm at 28 degrees under mostly sunny skies all day, be sure to drink plenty of water
We'll have to wait until Sunday to see the heat easing up.. Nationwide rain on Sunday will bring relief from the heat, but until then take good care of your health
