Good afternoon. Sunshine and high UV rays are in the forecast for South Korea,... while neighboring countries will also have warm highs with mostly sunny skies.

A high pressure system on the south coast will bring sunny skies to Korea and southwesterly winds will bring warmer and drier conditions.

And we can expect to have warm and sunny conditions today and into Saturday across much of the country.

A dry weather advisory has been issued in Seoul and Daegu and highs in Seoul will reach 20 degrees Celsius, while Daegu and Gyeongju will have June-like temperatures getting up to 27 and 26 degrees.

However, we won't be breathing in good air. Fine dust levels are high in the capital, and the south west will also have dusty conditions.

With that, let's take a look at the international weather for viewers around the world.

Most of South Korea will have sunny skies along with warm highs, while most of North Korea will be warmer than Wednesday under mostly sunny skies.

As for the rest of Asia, in Bangkok, mainly sunny weather is expected along with high humidity.

Over in New Zealand, fine weather continues out in the east today and weather in the west will also be good, except for parts of the South Island.

Heading to North America, Vancouver will see a dry stretch of weather through Friday morning before the next Pacific system moves in by Friday afternoon.

As for South America, heavy rains across Colombia are expected to last until June.

Taking you to Europe,... most major cities will enjoy warm and sunny conditions on Thursday.

Lastly to Africa, Addis Ababa will have unstable weather conditions well into Sunday.

That's the weather update for now.
