Large Crowd Gathers in Hong Kong for Tiananmen Vigil

More than 100,000 people gathered in Hong Kong’s Victoria Park on June 4 to hold a vigil for the victims of the 1989 Tiananmen Square Massacre.The protesters candles, sang songs, and called for the release of pro-democracy activists jailed in China, reported Hong Kong Free Press. US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo called for China to release the full death toll from the brutal military crackdown on the student-led pro-democracy protest on the eve of the 29th anniversary of the massacre.
