Recovery of a Volvo 4x4 that crashed into back gardens in Lincoln

Families had a miracle escape when a car ploughed into their back
gardens, smashing into toys and swings. A Volvo XC90 car dropped
around 10 feet into the back gardens of terrace houses in Lincoln
after smashing through two crash barriers and a tree. It is believed
the driver careered through the traffic lights at the junction of
Washingborough Road and Canwick Hill, Lincs, before going through a
second junction at South Park . The car then came to rest in the back
gardens of houses on Kingsway. The vehicle was being driven by a
37-year-old woman with two children on board.
