A morbidly obese firefighter who struggled to fit into his XXXL gear shed 106lbs in THREE MONTHS when he couldn’t keep up with colleagues almost twice his age. Robert Heussy, 27, tipped the scales at 366lbs at his heaviest and struggled with his high intensity job as a fire captain. Robert, of Gastonia, North Carolina, USA, said his knees and feet would ache at the end of his 70 hour week as his waist expanded to a whopping 50 inches. He guzzled three litres of sweet tea everyday and regularly indulged in calorie-laden firefighters’ feasts of spaghetti bolognese and burgers at the Union Road Fire Department station.
