Gunmen shot dead a German national working as a security guard at the German embassy in Yemen's capital Sanaa yesterday, according to a Reuters report. Gunmen approached the victim, who was reportedly a bodyguard of Ambassador Carola Mueller-Holtkemper, as he was leaving an upscale supermarket. After resisting the attackers, the man, who was reportedly armed, was gunned down.
