Four boats carrying activists departed Copenhagen, Denmark, on Tuesday, May 22, bound for the Gaza Strip, where they plan to attempt to break the Israeli blackade. The next stop for the boats was reported to be in Germany before ultimately moving to Gaza, according to the International Committee For Breaking The Siege of Gaza. The boats, named “Al-Awda” (Return), “Freedom”, “Palestine” and “Mairead”, are expected to arrive in the eastern Mediterranean in mid of July but the Israeli naval blockade of Gaza will potentially stop them delivering their aid.The footage here shows the boats leaving Copenhagen harbor.
