An effigy of US President Donald Trump was present at a demonstration in Wellington, New Zealand, on June 6 during a visit to the country by US Secretary of State Rex Tillerson.Greenpeace activists unfurled a banner on a crane ahead of Tillerson’s meeting with New Zealand Prime Minister Bill English.Protesters reportedly made obscene gestures towards Tillerson’s motorcade.Outside New Zealand’s parliament, people hurled water-filled condoms at the effigy.Speakers at the demonstration led the crowd in protest over Trump’s decision to withdraw the US from the Paris agreement on climate action.“Tell US Secretary of State Rex Tillerson withdrawing from the Paris agreement is unacceptable!” the demonstrators chanted.
