NASA Launches Rocket To Explore Mars

NASA has begun their next big mission: Exploring Mars. NASA launched a robotic space lander on May 5th, hoping to reach Mars and explore its deep interior. The rocket is expected to get to Mars in around six months. The take off itself went well, launching from the Vandenberg Air Force Base in California. The mission is the first interplanetary spacecraft to be launched over the Pacific.
