SpaceX launches cargo rocket from historic NASA pad
  • 7 years ago
SpaceX launched their Falcon 9 cargo rocket from the Kennedy Space Center's Launch Complex in Cape Canaveral, Florida. The cargo rocket took off from the historic launch pad that once sent NASA astronauts to the moon. The Falcon 9 rocket is on a mission to send food and other provisions to astronauts on the International Space Station. The take-off marks SpaceX's first successful launch in Florida since a rocket exploded there in September 2016.
