Officer David Renteria of the Jackson Police Department in Michigan could not contain his emotion as he made his final call after the last shift of a 25-year career ended on April 22.On hand was Renteria’s son Austin, a reserve officer with the Jackson PD, to record the moment as his father finished up.Renteria paid tribute to the “brothers and sisters” he has worked with over that time, his voice breaking at numerous points.
