Terminally Ill Boy's Wish Comes True as He Becomes a Police Officer for a Day

A terminally-ill boy who wants to become a police officer got a chance to see what the job is really like when he became an honorary cop for the day at Broward Sheriff’s Office in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.The young boy, Noah Sweeney, got to be seated at the front of the Broward Sheriff’s Office helicopter, and was on hand as of the Broward police dogs demonstrated his training and apprehended a member of staff pretending to be a criminal. Sweeney also got a detailed tour of the SWAT car and ended the day with a boat ride plus a police escort to the harbor.
