BMW Korea to recall 55,000 units over faulty exhausts

BMW Korea is recalling some 55-thousand cars from today... over an issue with the models' exhaust systems.
According to the Ministry of Environment,... just three models were found to have "faulty exhaust gas recirculation",... but BMW Korea voluntarily placed recall orders on 29 other models that used similar parts.
This is the second major emissions related recall of imported cars in the past three years.
Audi Volkswagen recalled over 120-thousand units in South Korea after the so-called 'Diesel-gate' scandal in 2015.
