Utah Dad Recreates Proposal 37 Years Later For Terminally Ill Wife

A father in Tremonton, Utah, surprised his terminally ill wife when he recreated his marriage proposal 37 years after he had originally proposed.Twitter user @JJMadson15 shared a clip to Twitter of his father, Greg Madson, recreating his proposal to Sherri Madson, who has terminal liver cancer, after “13,337 days of marriage” with the help of the couple’s children and grandchildren.Speaking to Storyful, @JJMadson15 said after his dad proposed and all their grandchildren came out in superhero capes and masks, “she and my dad both had a good cry.”“The way things are going right now (unless we get a miracle), Sherri may only have a couple good months left with us, so this was something extra special that we were able to help my dad put together for her,” he said.
