BJP launches a scathing attack, claims that Congress, SP and BSP are fanning the Dalit violence

The country was taken over by unfrequented violence in the past week after protesters took to streets over the alleged dilution of the SC/ST atrocities act. Alarmed by the violence, congress has organised a nation-wide fast to protect and promote communal harmony in the country. The BJP meanwhile has launched a scathing attack, claiming that congress along with SP and BSP have been fanning the Dalit violence. The Union Law minister Ravi Shankar Prasad said that the BJP has been working to strengthen the SC/ST act but the Rahul Gandhi is opposing the government's work.
