Ravi Shankar Prasad slams Congress over Snoopgate

The UPA government on Friday said that a judge will be appointed to conduct a probe into the Gujarat 'Snoopgate' before counting of votes in Lok Sabha polls. The case involves the Narendra Modi government using state machinery to allegedly snoop on a woman. Asserting that it had nothing to fear, the BJP lashed out at the Congress over the probe, accusing it of "stooping low" in "desperation" and said the next government would be within its rights to review the "malafide" last-minute decision.
