'A Quiet Place' Opens With $50 Million At Box Office

Horror has returned to the top of the box office thanks to John Krasinki's A Quiet Place. The movie he directed is opening to 50 million dollars from more than 35 hundred location this weekend. The film was also co-written by Krasinski, who also stars alongside his real-life wife Emily Blunt as two parents, who are trying to protect their children from alien monsters who track humans by sound. A Quiet Place has earned near-universal critical acclaim from critics.
