'A Quiet Place' Scares Up $50 Million, Wins Weekend Box Office

According to boxofficepro.com, Paramount's "silent" horror movie "A Quiet Place" won the weekend box office, with an estimated 50 million dollars. The critically acclaimed film has around 15 lines of dialogue, and was made for just 17 million. It was directed by John Krasinski, who also stars with his wife Emily Blunt. "A Quiet Place" follows a family trying to survive a group of monsters, who are wiping out the human race by attacking anything that makes a sound.
