“A Quiet Place” made at the weekend box office. Paramount Pictures’ thriller, which was directed by John Krasinsk, soared past estimates to a massive 50.3 million dollar opening, in more than 35 hundred theaters. That total was enough to land it the second highest domestic opening of the year to date, behind “Black Panther,” which opened in February with 202 million dollars. Since "A Quiet Place's" debut at South by Southwest the movie has garnered rave reviews.
