After protest in Chennai on Cauvery issue, security beefed up around Marina beach

Afraid of another jallikattu like protest, this time for cauvery, police security beefed up in Marina area this morning. Nearly 500 police personell deputed to cover entire 2.5 KM stretch of marina beach. Service road has been blocked. Yesterday a small group of people were protesting for Cauvery management board at marina. They got arrested and later on after inquiry all of them were released.
