The owner of a family-owned pet store in Salisbury North was shaken after watching CCTV footage of a thief clumsily stuffing three of the store’s pythons into a duffel bag and fleeing on March 26.On early Monday morning, around 3:30 am, a thief broke into the Wild About Reptiles store where he ripped the till from the counter and fled. He returned an hour later, smashed the tanks and forced three pythons, valued around $200 each, into a duffel bag, The Advertiser reported.The shop owner said his family was “shaken, upset and angry” and hoped there was enough evidence left behind, include a fingerprint on the broken glass, to lead to the safe return of the snakes.
