S. Korean delegation to deliver message from Pyongyang to U.S. officials in Washington
  • 6 years ago
A team of special envoys sent by South Korean President Moon Jae-in are in Washington to discuss their recent trip to North Korea.
The head of the National Security Office Chung Eui-yong and the National Intelligence Service chief Suh Hoon are scheduled to sit down with U.S. National Security Adviser H.R. McMaster and other senior U.S. officials about their meeting with the North Korean leader.
The envoys are carrying a message from Kim Jong-un himself.
The message is likely to detail the North's conditions for resuming bilateral dialogue with the U.S.
As of now,... it remains unclear whether the South Korean delegation will actually meet with U.S. President Donald Trump and Vice President Mike Pence at the White House.
