The nation's top office may send its top intel and security officials to Pyongyang before the inter-Korean summit.
At a press briefing on Tuesday Chief of staff, Im Jong-seok... announced... national security adviser Chung Eui-yong... and the chief of the national intelligence service Suh Hoon... could visit Pyongyang before the summit begins... if all the details for the event are not ironed out in Wednesday's working level talks.
Im added the inter-Korean hot line will be established by Friday and that intelligence-level channels between Seoul and Pyongyang are always open.
Details of the protocol, security, communication, and media coverage for the summit day will be discussed at tomorrow's working-level talks.
