At least one house was destroyed and several people were treated for burns and smoke inhalation following a grass fire in McCook, Nebraska, on March 6.Homes and schools were evacuated in the northern part of the city.A report in the Lincoln Journal Star said the fire spread rapidly with gusts over 50 mph.The Omaha World Herald said the fire was contained by evening, though firefighters were expected to remain at the scene overnight.
