ബംഗളുരുവിൽ ഇന്ന് മുതൽ ഹെലിടാക്സി സർവീസ് പ്രവർത്തനം ആരംഭിച്ചു. ഇന്ത്യയിൽ ആദ്യമായിട്ടാണ് ഇങ്ങനെ ഒരു സർവീസ് തുടങ്ങുന്നത്. ബെംഗളൂരു എയർപോർട്ടിൽ നിന്നും ഇലക്ട്രോണിക് സിറ്റിയിൽ എത്താൻ വെറും 15 മിനുറ്റ് മാത്രം മതി. ബസിലോ കാറിലോ ആണ് യാത്ര ചെയ്യുന്നതെങ്കിൽ യാത്രാസമയം 2 മണിക്കൂറിൽ അധികം ആവും, Bengaluru’s helicopter taxi service is all set to take off on Monday with users able to fly from Kempegowda International Airport to Electronic City in 15 minutes, a journey that usually takes two hours by road. The heli-taxi service is being introduced in the city by Thumby Aviation, which will operate two Bell 407 helicopters, that can seat up to six people.
