FBI, Police Searching for 2 in Attempts to Blow Up Three Utah ATMs

Authorities are hunting for two men they believe attempted to rob at least three ATMs by blowing them up in the Salt Lake City, Utah, area. The FBI on February 5 released video of the most recent incident, which took place on January 19.The two men have been connected to three incidents, two on January 7 and one on January 19, in West Jordan and Salt Lake City.The first incident was at about 5am on January 7 at an ATM at the Golden West Credit Union in West Jordan. The second took place the same day at about 11pm at the America First Credit Union in West Jordan, and the third was on January 19 at the Chartway Federal Credit Union, also in West Jordan.In each incident, the suspects attached a propane tank to the ATM before pouring a flammable liquid around the machine and lighting it on fire, according to the FBI. The suspects were not able to gain access to the ATM.The video of the January 19 incident shows from a camera inside the machine the two men attaching the tubing to the machine with the propane tank. The video then switches to the area surveillance camera to show one of the suspects spreading flammable liquid on the ground before lighting it on fire.
