Ruling party, government, Blue House vow all out efforts for successful Olympics

South Korea's ruling party, government and presidential office have vowed all out efforts for the successful hosting of the PyeongChang Winter Olympics.
This came during their first three-way meeting of the year on Monday,... where they said the event will be an opportunity to raise Korea's national status and brand value as well as reduce geopolitical risks.
They vowed to thoroughly take last minute checkups to ensure a successful Olympics as well as called for cooperation from the opposition to not engage in political strife regarding North Korea's participation.
As for the hospital fire in Miyrang last week that killed 39 people,... the three sides sent their condolences to the bereaved,... and vowed to take all necessary measures and pass related bills to prevent further accidents.
They also promised to cooperate so that the National Assembly can pass urgent bills related to people's livelihoods during the February parliamentary session.. that kicks off on Tuesday.
