Meryl Streep is coming to HBO.
That’s right, the iconic star has just been cast in Big Little Lies 2, playing the mother of Alexander Skarsgard’s character.
She shows up in town looking for answers to what happened to her son… and if you’ve seen the series before, you know this could get interesting.
Reese Witherspoon and Nicole Kidman are already on board… and it’s also being claimed Laura Dern and Shailene Woodley will be returning as well.
Streep is no stranger to fans of HBO, having starred in 2003’s Angels in America.
And who knows, maybe she get another acting award for this new turn.
She’s already the most nominated actress in history, currently waiting to see if she’ll collect her 4th statue this year for her work in The Post.
