An 8.2-magnitude earthquake was reported in the Gulf of Alaska on Tuesday, January 23, by the US Geological Survey. The National Weather Service issued a tsunami warning following the quake.This video, captured by a resident of Sterling, south of Anchorage, shows lamps swinging for almost a minute, indicating the strength of the quake.
