Supreme Court's lawyer Indu Malhotra may directly promoted from lawyer of Supreme court to Judge of the court. Collegium indicated green signal over her name. She has been practicing as a lawyer in SC since past 30 years. Along with her, Uttrakhand's Chief Justice KM Joseph, who set aside the president's rule in Uttrakhand in 2016 has also recommended for the appointment as a Supreme court judge.
