Palestinians Chant 'Traitor' During Protest Against Orthodox Patriarch

Palestinian protesters blocked the convoy of Orthodox Patriarch Theophilus III of Jerusalem on January 6 as the convoy made its way to the Church of the Nativity in Bethlehem.Bethlehem locals, the mayor of the city, and representatives from other towns boycotted a reception for the patriarch after the sale of buildings belong to the Orthodox church to Israeli organisations, according to Palestinian reports.Orthodox Christian groups in the West Bank also launched a campaign against the patriarch and called for a boycott.This video was shared by a local media group from Bethlehem and shows protesters blocking the patriarch’s convoy and chanting slogans against him.
