Dow Jones Breaches 25,000 Mark

The Dow Jones and S&P 500 are riding record highs supported by strong jobs data and tech stocks.
The Standards & Poor index peaked 2,700 for the first time, and a day later on January 4th, it is up almost 4-points at 2,726.
The S&P has benefited by a strong technology sector on the index, which has grown over 30-percent on the year.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average hit another thousand-point milestone, crossing 25,000 for the first time.
The Dow is up 161 points on the day at 25,084.
