Dow Jones Closes at Record 25,000-Point Mark The record close comes just 23 days after the Dow Jones reached 24,000. It's the shortest stretch between 1,000-point milestones ever. The Standard & Poor's 500 advanced 10 points
to 2,723. The Nasdaq Composite was up
12 points at 7,077. The 25,000-mark is the seventh time that the Dow Jones has reached a 1,000-point milestone under the tenure of President Trump. In 2017, the S&P’s 500-stock index gained 19 percent, the Dow Jones rose 25 percent and the Nasdaq grew 28 percent.
